during the work week it's a good day if i have time to dry and straighten my hair, let alone sample out a new hairdo. but this "updo" on leighton meester looked simple enough even for my c+ hair skills and time crunched mornings.
how to get this look:
- rake back your hair with your fingers and secure pony at the crown of your head (it worked best for me with "one day old" hair - even easier!)
- use finger tips to loosen up pony tail for a more relaxed finish
- braid the pony tail
- wind braid around the base and secure with pins, leaving ends visible
