i've been traveling a bunch lately and this weekend is no different as i'm headed to new orleans for a bachelorette party! while i love visiting new places, all this bopping around means even less time to enjoy the already-too-short chicago summer. so in an effort to squeeze every last ounce of sunshine from the summer months, i'm following suit of other bloggers and making a list of summer to dos. and it will be infinitely more fun checking off these "to dos" then the things on my other to do lists.
what are you looking forward to this summer?
pic sources: unknown, french frosting, walking around where the sidewalk begins, cup of joe, love maegan, inetgiant, two peas and their pod, this is glamorous, definitely golden, dust jacket attic

Yum, strawberries <33 Super pictures!
ReplyDeleteAdds to the observers and look forward to the same + welcome to me.
Those strawberries and avocados looks delish. I'm just looking forward to a wonderfully warm summer, one that lasts, and not stays rainy all the time. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great time in New Orleans!!
Love this list! Very similar to mine. Need to take advantage of this Chicago summer... once it starts
ReplyDeleteAwesome list! Picnic in the park and more evening walks are also on my list. Oh I wish summer lasted all year in Chicago!
ReplyDeleteAww, I'll borrown pretty much of your to do list. What beautiful photos to complete your post! :)Ada
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I've already started a couple of those... did Green City Market last week, and have already done a couple picnics. I think picnics are my #1 favorite part of summer... at the beach, at Millennium Park, near my house.
ReplyDeleteI do feel like summer's already slipping away. I should make a list too. I do really want to do a movie in the park. This is our 5th summer living here, adn I've still never done a movie in the park. This is the year!
I'll be eating outside as much as possible too! One of my favorites parts of the season :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect summer!
ReplyDeleteMy to dos: Concerts, boating, and sunshine!!! :)
this is the best list:) I would like to do all of the above + some cubs games, concerts and bike rides. xoxo

that is a great list. I want to do more picnicing spending time outdoors. The wedding is in 2 months so it's taking up so much of the summer but it's a labour of love :) Need to play around with braids more often.
