{open knit sweater, the perfect transition from beach to fall}

{when layered with a slip a crochet dress goes from boho beach to out on the town}

i'm a big fan of cover ups that serve other functions in your wardrobe aside from just beachside bikini toppers (first mentioned here). and i'm thinking if i can turn a loosely knitted sweater into a swimsuit cover up it just might justify a fall sweater purchase in the middle of 90 degree july heat...

I love wearing a white shirt as a cover up. It's so chic and stylish. A loosely knitted sweater is a great idea too. :)

This is pretty savvy. I typically purchase unitasking pieces for beach coverups that don't really work anywhere else. It's brilliant to grab something that you'll actually wear again.
