halloween costume ideas

 {margot costume featuring topshop faux fur coat}
 {minnie mouse costume featuring modcloth polka dot dress}
 {risky business costume featuring ray ban original wayfarer sunnies}
{annie hall costume featuring acne wide leg trousers}

the last two years i've dressed up as tom cruise from risky business for halloween. mostly because i never choose a costume and at the last minute dug a white button down out of the bf's closet and threw on some ray bans. easy and didn't cost a penny!

this year i want to have a little more fun with my costume, but i'd love to land on something that i can partially pull from my closet - or at least continue to wear after october 31st.

do you dress up for halloween? what were you last year?

  4. I was a Anna Wintour and it was a good excuse for me to invest on a pretty dress. I have no idea for this year, but Tom Cruise from the Risky Business sounds fun and easy to pull off. xoxo

  6. I looooove your ideas, lady! The first one is especially great because I suspect no one will dress up as Margot from RT. What a unique idea. And I would totally wear the outfit again (which is a big thing for me!).

  16. B and I went as Kanye West & Taylor Swift the year of all that hoopla- it's nice if you can pull something from pop culture because you can usually pull most of it from your closet! No idea what we're going to be this year... Minnie Mouse is cute though :)
